Reasons to learn English in the Philippines

Before coming to the US to study, I visited a lot of places, there are few countries in Asia, Europe, traveling, business trips, etc.
But now I was still studying in ESL classes, before starting the MBA, actually I never felt like "terrible" with my skill English (of course my skill English is quite okay) because for a time, I’m very proud of my English fortune or at least a little English accent, but now I have to fix so much. Maybe, the mistakes stems from I started learning English from Secondary school. Althought ,I can communicate with anybody and they can understand me. But if I want to become a professional English learners, I will need to be adjusted.

I’m not kidding or use the theory to recommend, people lost the basics of English or people really want to study English from the country use English like a main language. But by my experience, my comparison and my received, I advice the student need good preparation. Because its provisions are to start for a good English background. Learning English in the Philippines can be called a wise choice, because of many convenience like close to home, not worry about visa, etc. And If I had a time before I’ll choose studying in here.

MC Tran Quoc Khanh who is TV presenter. He also shared some his opinion in a meeting with young people in an English club in Ho Chi Minh city. He also felt "inadequacy" in the early stages to the US to study. But English is seems the wall to hinder me. Although I studied so much in Vietnam.

- In Asia, Philppines is an English speaking country can be called the most nature of the selected classroom teacher. They have a voice, "very English" rather than Phil Lish nicknamed as Singlish or Vietnamese Lish. It is a unique model "SPARTA" one student and one teacher, the ability to improve the lot of the tones. They set goals learner in the center, edit individual. Many people, many ages can learn here. Almost teacher and staff are extremely friendly. Many people is the director or head of the foreign companies in Vietnam, even teachers of English also come here to study because of that reasons.

- The fee for courses are not cheap. But compared with other English courses, it’s cheaper. Do simple calculations:
+ For example Singapore: Average 1200 USD – 1400 USD/month plus transportation fee and food spending around $ S 1000 -1300, a total range about 2200 USD - 2700 USD/month. Total of student at least 15 students in one class, not to mention that you are infected with Singlish accent
+ Meanwhile Philppines, the students live in dormitory and they don’t need to pay more transportation, total fee about 1300 USD – 1450 USD/month. The number of student less than 15 people such as 1 teacher and 4 students in one class, 1 teacher and 8 students in one class. not to mention that students can study around 10 hours because they have to study from morning to night. Of course, students have time to rest and have a teacher's tutelage.
I see many Vietnam students learning English or following "the label" must learn from the rich countries like Singapore. But the reality in many developing countries they usually go to Philippines to learn such as Korea, Japan, Russia, etc.

Did you know how many students go to Philippines to study and also as a cure-all for US visas. Many of you have learned at the Centre in Ho Chi Minh city but reflection is not good because most of your time outside your class you use Vietnamese. Almost of you have dropped the US visa several times before, after obtaining certification for study or visa Philippines. They helped you succeed visa USA / Canada, etc. So you are weak for English, or never having experience life outside the borders of Vietnam and especially want to apply for a visa to study in the United States, Australia, Canada, etc. Let go to the Philippines to study because it’s a very appropriate choice.
Go back to school in the US (or Canada, Australia also what make the same, etc.) if that English is not very good, although you have a visa but when you stay in a class which it has crowded students per teacher listens well already tired, etc. When you go out or to make friends with the American. When we use English, that’s very stressful. In fact, many IELTS or TOEFL you had in Vietnam and that also at drowning because Vietnam speak English with Vietnamese. So that why we can understand each other, but sometimes foreigners do not understand. You should go to other country where most of people speak English and you will have many experience with English. The country like Philippines.

However, there is one truth that: where do you learn, where do you live, etc. The manners of the "solid" it depends largely on the learners themselves, motivated, targeted, etc. it is not depend on the role of the teacher or school, many students are not learning is so nostalgic, but at least you also need to choose the environment, where appropriate study to be the right direction for your goals .
